Please try this example: https://www.nature.com/articles/nature24993 In that case the issue (leftover HTML code) still remains. THX.
-
Are there any updates on this issue (see above)?
-
Edit: unfortunately, pdfs are also not imported
-
Thanks a lot! It seems like the Nature translator has been updated today. I tried it out and it works fine except for the article title which still contains leftover HTML code (e.g. ). THX

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! @DWL-SDCA My example was not the best one, please try these: http://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms12684 http://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms14859 Both articles clearly have an abstract on the webpage and…

Thanks for the hint! For some reason Zotero stopped auto-updating. Manually updated to 4.0.24.1 and sciencedirect works again.
-
I restarted firefox and zotero several times. Now I get an actual error ID from the failed sync: 313800935
-
Works perfect now. Thanks a lot for the quick fix!

My apologies, I did not know that this page is supposed to work with the Highwire translator. You are correct, the example I posted does indeed work perfectly. Please try this one instead: http://nar.oxfordjournals.org/content/41/D1/D94.long You w…

You are right, TOCs/outlines normally don't change. The only exception would be after replacing a paper with a version that contains supplemental information but that's most likely very rare. So the update feature should be limited to the extracted …
-
What about an automatic update feature to keep all TOCs and extracted annotations up-to-date? I imagine that this could be accomplished by comparing when the pdfs were last edited with the time-points of TOC/note extractions. I think this would be a…

Just wanted to bump this... is a plugin to import data from Mendeley via its API still in the pipeline?
-
@aurimas: The plugin to import data from mendeley into zotero via api, is it still being worked on? For colwiz this works really nicely so I think this would definitely be worth the effort. Cheers, Philipp

Hi, is it be possible to implement highlight/note extraction based on color? I use different colors to distinguish e.g. important background information (green) from most important points (red), etc. So it would be really cool to generate separate…

You are right, it seems to work again now. THX!

Repeated with several different PMIDs. I guess this is broken. Searching for DOIs and ISBNs works fine though.

Could we maybe get a quick statement from the devs regarding the proposed "metadata update' feature? I could not find a ticket in github regarding this matter so I am not sure if this is actually planned. Please have a look into this when there is t…

Hi, the new Zotero beta (version 4.0.18-beta.r5+69179b6) adds support for links inside notes. While this works fine for web links, the pdf links that zotfile creates don't seem to open any pdfs (Report ID 2103210569). Is this a known bug? Thanks! …

Great, thx. Are new files types still on the roadmap for 4.2?
-
Sounds perfect! Thx for the fast reply, I appreciate it!
-
+1 from me! I used Qiqqa and Papers in the past, which both support star rating. If Zotero could do the same it would be great!
-
This feature has been discussed for almost exactly seven years... Are there any updates on this?
-
+1 from me as well! It would be great to have that feature! Please consider using PMID for lookup. Pubmed metadata is by far superior to Google Scholar!

I would like to make the same suggestion. Having an option to use larger icons definitely increases the usability on small screens or with high resolutions. Please implement this feature! :)
